8월 28일 릴리즈되었습니다.

주요기능

 

- 스냅샷 기능: VMware Workstation은 운영 시스템의 상황을 시간별로 복사 저장할 수 있으며 스냅샷을 지정한 시점으로 복원 기능을 지원합니다.

- 가상머신 탭: 빠른 변환 모드를 지원하여, 간단한 마우스 클릭으로 가상머신들 사이를 이동하며 작업할 수 있습니다.

- 16개의 가상 프로세서와 64GB의 메모리 지원
- 8TB 디스크와 새로운 가상 SATA 디스크 컨트롤러 지원
- USB 3.0 스트림을 지원하여 파일 빠른 복사가 가능

개선사항

 

- New Operating Systems: Windows 8.1 and the latest Linux distributions are now supported. Windows Store applications are accessible from within Unity and PCs running Windows 8 can now be easily converted into virtual machines.
- Virtual Hardware Upgrades: 16 vCPUs, 8 TB disks, a virtual SATA controller, 20 VMnets, and USB3 streaming are just some of the enhancements that make this the most advanced virtualization platform.
- Expiring Virtual Machines: Restricted virtual machines can be set to expire at a specific date and time.  An expired virtual machine will automatically suspend and will not restart without the administrator extending the expiration period.
- Tablet Sensors: Workstation 10 includes a virtual accelerometer, gyroscope, compass and ambient light sensor to enable applications running in a virtual machine to react to a users tilting and shaking their tablet.
